Hotel Current - Long Beach

The interior design was nice

This facility is not a hotel. It is a motel with exterior Walkways. The walkways were dirty and needed more trash cans around. The beds were hard and some of the finishes were not high quality, even though the hotel is shooting for arty glam. The staff was very pleasant and friendly. It was very inexpensive so it was a good value. Long Beach is always dicey with location.

Appreciated the location to cruise terminals.

Need lots of work on the outside presentation. Looks very much like a motel and needs work on landscaping and more soft/comfortable beds. The bed we had in our room pretty hard and unfortunately left me with neck pains. But good job on the pillow selection. :) very comfy.

Rooms looked modern

It was over priced. Def not a 3 star. Bugs in room. Bad area! No tv signal even worse was the Internet signal!!! I would and will not recommend Hotel Current! Place.

I stayed for one night and enjoyed the short walk to nearby restaurants. The front desk staff provided helpful information about getting to the port. The room was clean and I had a comfortable night's sleep. I found the decor modern and fresh, which I appreciated.

Breakfast is so so. Very noisy as many guests talked loudly either in early morning or late evening.

Great location and nice staff!

I stayed for 1 night in the Beautiful Double Room. The location was perfect, just a short walk to where my son lives. The staff was super helpful, especially when I needed to fix my room situation. The bar lounge area was a nice touch too. Only downside was the no hot water issue during my shower. A decent stay!

I stayed at Hotel Current because of problems in my condo so I could not sleep there for several nights. Hotel Current was a combination of location/price/convenience/value. They did give me a $10 room discount as well, based on my employer. The room did meet my needs. The staff told me that the Hotel has recently undergone extensive remodeling in the last year. I was not familiar with it. Previously it had been the Guest House, which I was familiar with.

There were some minor problems; one morning I heard the alarm/clock radio in the room next to me. Also, in one room, the hot/cold water knobs seemed to be reversed from what is 'normal'. Otherwise, it met my needs.

It's a very nice place, clean and confortable. Good position to visit long beach and the orange county.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The location is ideal, close to attractions. My room was spacious and comfortable. The free shuttle service made exploring easy 🌞

The rooms live up to the name of the Hotel. They are current for sure. The bathroom in the room that I stayed in had a full shower with no tub and was very clean. The room was spacious, had a modern flat screen lcd television, and plenty of lighting as well as a view of the neighboring golf course.

The main doors to the rooms slammed a bit hard, but I can say that whenever I left the room, I knew the door had shut.

Favourable and amazing location in pretty area, close to a good area as well as beaches, downtown, golf courses, airport and freeways. Again, walking distance to a performing arts theater. Stylish and romantic rooms available with 2 queen beds and mini fridge and a hot tub.

Family with children comfortable stay

The pool was pretty, and my family really enjoyed lounging there, especially on hot days. The staff were nice too.

Not exactly cheap, but it was still acceptable for what we got.
